Mit ihrem Startkonzert
am 16.Jan. 2005 legte der anlässlich der Tsunami-Katastrophe
gegründete Verein „Drei Stimmen Hilft e.V.“ den Grundstock für sein
„Phuket Sunshine Village“-Engagement. Mit Unterstützung der
Rotary-Clubs „Giessen-Altes Schloss“ (Deutschland) und „AMU“ (Niederlande)
haben die Drei Stimmen mittlerweile über 70.000,00 Euro ersammelt,
die dem Projekt für seinen laufenden Betrieb zugute kommen. Die Drei
Stimmen möchten das Projekt langfristig begleiten und freuen sich
auf ein Konzert „irgendwann mal“ vor den strahlenden Kinderaugen,
die dort eine vorläufige Heimat gefunden haben.

Majesty King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden handed over a donation of 50,000
Swedish Crowns (7,200 US) from the Lions Club of Gustav Vasa to the
Lions Club of Phuket Andaman Sea for the distribution to the needy

We received a donation of 14.250
Euro from the Lions Club of Glauchau, Germany on the 2nd of May 2005. The area around
Glauchau also had a flood disaster, cause by heavy rain, a view years
ago

On
the 25th. of April 2005 the students of the Pestalozzi- and Limes
School Idstein organized a "Sponsor Run" to raise money for the
Children's Village-Project.
With this Activity they raised 8000 Euro. Here on the picture you
can see Mr. Kolhoff from the L.C.Niedernhausen where he informed
the students, teachers and all other attendants about the Project.

 Joseph
Baustert (right) founder of the „SOS Villages d'Enfants“ foundation
helped to organize a charity concert with German violin player
Anne-Sophie Mutter (center) on 30.09.05. Joseph Baustert has lost
his wife and daughter in Khao Lak during the Tsunami and is a big
supporter of our Children's Village and our Sponsorship program. The
money raised in this concert will be used for several projects in
the effected areas helping orphans.

One
of our Lions Club Partners in Germany the Lions "Förderverein
Niedernhausen e.V." organize a big concert with the symphony
orchestra of the German armed forces and the
soloist singer Ute Becker on the 31.03.2006 in the Rhein-Main-Theater
in Niedernhausen.
The event is under the patronage from Heidemarie Wieczorek-Zeul
(Federal Minister).
The money, raised by this concert will be 100% donated to the
"Phuket Sunshine Village" project.
We wish our Partner "Lions Förderverein Niedernhausen e.V." a 100%
success for this outstanding fundraising activity.
