In order to provide
immediate relieve for children who have lost members of their families,
their home or any kind of income we have just started a new project. We
are financially helping those families who are in the most desperate
situation. This project was originally meant to be a short term (one year)
solution, but most of these children are in need of continued support. We are closely monitoring the financial and social situation
of these children annually to revaluate their
status. This project is not only for Tsunami victims but for all
children that need help. But we can certainly identify Tsunami
victims, if you request.

Here are 45 children from one school alone that have lost one of
their parents or their home!

Master Jakrit opening
his account |
After visiting schools and camps in the
effected areas (Phuket & Phang Nga provinces) we know of many
children that need immediate help.
We are setting up bank
accounts for these children that we can deposit a monthly amount
of 2000 THB (about 40 Euro) for them.

The Bear Boy Story
This is a particularly touching story about a nine year old boy from
Phuket. He is known as “Nong Mee” (Which means “Bear Boy”). The
local villagers call him this name ever since he was abandoned by
his parents when he was about 2 years old because they found out
that he was not a normal child.
